The harbour is well-sheltered, with no hazards on the approach. It is located 1M SSE from Pontal da Nazaré. The entrance, 100m wide, is formed by two breakwaters; 6m water at least to be found in the area; no major difficulty on approaching or entrance (straight forward between the poles); The marina lies in the SW corner, once crossed the fairway.
